How are words selected for the spelling bee?
Our word list is carefully selected to include words appropriate for each grade level. We aim to provide a challenging yet fair set of words to test participants’ spelling abilities. Since we don’t want to have our spellers to simply memorise words and spell on stage, we introduce new words at the stage where learners have learnt enough clues to help them to spell an unknown word.

Yes, parents and teachers play a crucial role in supporting participants. They can encourage students in their preparation and attend events as spectators.

We Are Proud of Our Parents!
I have always been telling my wife not to train our girl with the intention that she is coming to win. Our focus has always been the whole learning process that she is going through, the exposure she is receiving and her confidence that keeps building after each contest.
